We started the week with our introduction day, where we explored the topic of bullying: what it is, what forms it takes, and which roles are involved in a bullying scenario. Through group discussions and reflection, we considered the difference between conflict and bullying, focusing on three core elements that distinguish one from the other.
The next day, we moved on to one of the most challenging forms of bullying: Cybermobbing. In today’s digital world, the internet plays a huge role in students’ lives bringing both risks and opportunities. With practical activities and open dialogue, we discussed how cyberbullying differs from traditional bullying and how it overlaps. Participants shared their school experiences and explored strategies to help students stay safe online.

Midweek, the focus shifted to Prävention von Mobbing. We asked: how can schools create inclusive, safe, and collaborative environments? Through interactive and non-formal activities, we examined how trust, empathy, and a sense of belonging are key to reducing bullying behaviors and building stronger classroom communities.
On Thursday, we dove into the topic of emotionale Intelligenz and its connection to bullying. Using Daniel Goleman’s framework, participants reflected on emotional self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and social skills. Through group work and role-playing exercises, teachers experienced first-hand how to support students in developing these skills.
