Il meglio per gli insegnanti della scuola dell'infanzia

The field of early childhood and preschool education is continuously evolving, making it essential for preschool teachers to stay updated with modern educational trends and innovative teaching methods. This training course for preschool educators was designed as an opportunity to explore some of the most effective preschool approaches, discovering their key principles, characteristics, and benefits for young learners.

La nuova edizione del corso “Il meglio per gli insegnanti della scuola dell'infanzia” ha avuto luogo in Tenerife da 10/05/2026 to 16/05/2026. The participants came from Serbia, with Vanja, Ivana and Milica from Kindergarten ,,Mastolend” and Marija from PU Dečije carstvo.

The course started with an introduction to different preschool education systems and methodologies, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of various educational approaches. Teachers also presented their own schools and shared experiences from their institutions, creating a valuable exchange of ideas and perspectives on preschool education across Europe.

A central part of the course focused on educazione inclusiva and on strategies for creating learning environments that support every child, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds. Participants explored practical methods and activities aimed at promoting equality, participation, and well-being among preschool children.

During the course, participants learnt more about Montessori school. They discovered how children are encouraged to learn independently and develop at their own pace within a carefully prepared environment. They learnt how this approach can encourage autonomy, creativity, and motivation for learning. Participants also explored the importance of non-formal education and its positive impact on children’s development.

The final part of the course was dedicated to exploring the Reggio Emilia approach, internationally recognized for its innovative vision of education. Participants explored materials, projects, and educational practices connected to this philosophy, gaining deeper insight into its emphasis on creativity, collaboration, and the importance of valuing children’s ideas and self-expression. In addition, the course also addressed outdoor education, non-formal education, and socio-emotional learning for preschool teachers.

As the training week came to an end, participants returned home enriched with new knowledge, practical ideas, and meaningful experiences, ready to apply what they had learned in their own educational contexts.
