In an increasingly interconnected world, multilingual communication is becoming ever more important in the education sector. Spanish, as the second most spoken language by native speakers globally, serves not only as a means of personal development but also as a bridge for fostering intercultural connections. This training course was designed to address the growing need for education professionals to acquire basic Spanish skills, empowering them to participate more effectively in international mobility programs, Erasmus+ projects, intercultural exchanges, and professional collaborations with Spanish-speaking countries.
Unser Kurs “Intensive Spanish Language Course” took place in Teneriffa von 20/10/2025 till 24/10/2025, welcoming a group from Germany. Our participants were Fabian, Sabine, Throsten, Johanna, Ute and Heide from LEB Werkstattprojekt Kösterhof in Germany.
To promote group cohesion and establish a supportive learning atmosphere, the course began with introductory activities that allowed participants to practice greeting one another, introducing themselves, and exchanging basic personal information. Through the use of Spanish verb tenses, they developed their speaking skills, laying a solid foundation for the week’s grammar and vocabulary development.

Throughout the course, emphasis was placed on interaktives Lernen, with each session integrating speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. The gradual introduction of verb tenses—present, past, and future—helped participants build a strong grammatical foundation while remaining engaged through relevant and stimulating topics.

By following this five-day plan, students can enhance their Spanish language skills in a structured, engaging, and practical way. The program ensures steady progression, with each day building upon the previous one to reinforce and expand acquired knowledge. Emphasis is placed on practical application through activities such as self-introductions, discussing daily routines, and talking about travel experiences, providing authentic contexts for language use. Additionally, the integration of speaking, listening, reading, and writing tasks supports well-rounded and balanced language development.
