This is the aim of this training course which is every day more and more crucial even if there are no easy answers. With a holistic approach in mind, during the course the participants will learn how to identify the causes of this phenomenon and the best approaches and strategies to prevent, tackle and reduce it as well as the keys to conflict management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new edition of the course \u201cPreventing conflicts and tackling Early School Leaving\u200b\u201d took place in Palermo from June the 28 to July the 4. The participants came from all across Europe, with Mercedes Agra Fern\u00e1ndez and Eva Regueiro Pedreira from Asociaci\u00f3n Agarimo (CPR Agarimo), Spain; Iwona Jasi\u0144ska and Agnieszka Jasi\u0144ska &#8211; Janczak from Zesp\u00f3\u0142 Szk\u00f3\u0142 nr 1 im. On the first day, they focused on defining what Early School Leaving means and on identifying the main <strong>factori de risc<\/strong>. This allowed the participants to underlie causes, and the potential consequence of early school leaving.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We started from the assumption that in order to develop an early school leaving approach, we deeply need to <strong>connect to our students<\/strong>, to be closer to their interests and their feelings. The participants engaged in hands-on activities to learn about the importance of <strong>ascultarea activ\u0103<\/strong> \u0219i <strong>inteligen\u021ba emo\u021bional\u0103<\/strong> \u00een crearea leg\u0103turilor sociale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participants went on discovering the <strong>gestionarea conflictelor<\/strong> topic. First, we dedicated some time for a perspective change. With the support of an inspirational TED Talk, the group who initially associated the idea of conflict to something essentially negative, realized afterwards how conflicts provided in their life <strong>oportunit\u0103\u021bi unice<\/strong> pentru a-\u0219i \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bi rela\u021bia, comunicarea \u0219i \u00een\u021belegerea reciproc\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afterwards the group practiced some non-formal activities to reflect the importance of membership <strong>\u0219i colaborarea<\/strong>. Strategies for collaborative work and peer-education were analysed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group focused then on how to <strong>battle negativity in the classroom<\/strong>, through group reflection and practical activities. We analyzed different conflict management styles and discussed their concrete application in different situations.
