Erasmus+ Accreditation

Erasmus+ Accreditation — Mobility Consortium Coordinator (2021–2027)

Erasmus Learning Academy holds an Erasmus+ accreditation as a mobility consortium coordinator, awarded by the Italian National Agency INDIRE. It is the most comprehensive form of Erasmus+ accreditation — it authorises us to lead a consortium of organisations that send teachers, staff and learners abroad on KA1 mobilities under a joint Erasmus Plan.

What it is

What the Erasmus+ accreditation means

An Erasmus+ accreditation is a quality seal awarded by a National Agency to organisations with a solid, long-term plan for European mobility. ELA’s accreditation goes one step further: we are accredited as a mobility consortium coordinator, the most comprehensive form available. This means we are authorised not only to organise our own mobility activities, but also to coordinate a consortium of organisations that send their teachers, staff and learners abroad on Erasmus+ KA1 mobilities under a joint Erasmus Plan.

To obtain it, we submitted a detailed Erasmus Plan with long-term internationalisation objectives and committed to the Erasmus quality standards set by the European Commission. The accreditation (application form KA120) is valid for the 2021–2027 programme period and is subject to ongoing monitoring by the National Agency INDIRE.

Why it matters

What our Erasmus+ accreditation means in practice

An accreditation is earned, vetted and monitored at European level — it says a lot about who you’re dealing with.

🇪🇺

Vetted at European level

Approved by the National Agency against the Erasmus quality standards, with ongoing monitoring throughout 2021–2027.

🛫

Simplified access to KA1

Accreditation gives us streamlined access to KA1 mobility funding to send staff and learners abroad, without competitive calls each round.

🤝

A full consortium

As coordinator we plan, apply for and manage KA1 mobility on behalf of member organisations under one shared Erasmus Plan.

🌐

Open to collaboration

We welcome schools, education institutions and other Erasmus+ accredited organisations that want to cooperate and build European mobility partnerships together.

Our Erasmus Plan

The objectives behind our Erasmus accreditation

Every accredited organisation commits to concrete, long-term objectives. These are ours.

🚀

Stronger staff competences

Build staff skills in innovative methodologies, digital technologies and relational competences to create inclusive learning environments.

🌍

Inclusion of learners

Strengthen the social, civic and professional inclusion of learners with fewer opportunities by developing key social, linguistic, intercultural and digital competences.

🔗

Cooperation & internationalisation

Increase interdisciplinary cooperation, innovation and internationalisation across consortium members to raise the quality and visibility of their offer.

Erasmus+ priorities

The Erasmus+ priorities we’re committed to

Inclusion & diversity
Clear, fair selection criteria give equal access to Erasmus+ mobility, including for participants with fewer opportunities. We use available Erasmus+ support to cover additional costs — personal assistance, accessible accommodation, language support — and provide dedicated mentoring and accessible materials so everyone can take part with full dignity.
Environmental sustainability
We integrate sustainability across the project: digital tools for communication and management to minimise physical materials, low-impact travel (rail where feasible, direct flights otherwise), and awareness activities that encourage participants to reduce their footprint in everyday choices.
Digital education
Digital tools run every stage of our mobilities — online applications and interviews, digital-skills and online-safety preparation, and monitoring via digital surveys. We actively promote European platforms such as EPALE, Europass and OLS so participants keep developing their competences.
Active participation in the Erasmus network
We collaborate across European networks, share good practice through EPALE and the Erasmus+ Project Results platform, run joint events, and support less-experienced organisations in meeting the Erasmus Quality Standards.
Standardele de calitate Erasmus

How we meet the Erasmus Quality Standards

As a sending consortium coordinator, our quality standards focus on how we manage each mobility — from selection to certification and follow-up.

Information, transparency & preparation
Before every mobility, participants receive complete, advance information — a detailed infosheet with objectives, methodology, programme and practical arrangements — plus guidance on the preparation and equipment needed to make the most of the experience. We prepare participants on the intercultural, socio-relational and digital level, and cooperate closely with sending organisations throughout.
Fair, open selection & inclusiveness
Places are assigned through clear, documented selection criteria that guarantee equal, non-discriminatory access, with particular attention to participants with special needs or fewer opportunities. Schools awaiting project approval can pre-register and reserve a place, cancelling at no cost if the project is not approved.
Quality mobilities abroad
We select relevant, high-quality courses and hosting organisations that match participants’ learning needs and competence levels, favouring practical, interactive and up-to-date approaches. Social, cultural and networking activities complement the learning and give each mobility a genuine European dimension.
Participant support, before, during & after
A dedicated contact person supports each participant throughout the mobility, answering questions promptly — with particular care in exceptional circumstances. We pay special attention to inclusive support, tailoring assistance to participants with special needs or fewer opportunities so everyone can take part fully.
Learning outcomes, validation & certification
We support participants through the staff mobility / learning agreement, quality commitment and validation of learning outcomes in line with Erasmus+ requirements, including the Europass Mobility Certificate on request — with a clear description of the activity, outcomes, dates and venue.
Follow-up, dissemination & continuous improvement
We guide participants on how to build on their results and share materials so knowledge is transferred back to their organisations. Results are disseminated internally and externally — giving visibility to participating organisations — and we collect structured feedback to keep improving each mobility and the consortium as a whole.
EU values

Committed to the EU values

In line with Article 2 of the TEU and Article 21 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, our activities respect human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and human rights — including the rights of persons belonging to minorities — and prohibit discrimination on any ground.
