Technology is now part of everyday teaching, but using it effectively means much more than simply knowing how to use new tools. The real challenge is understanding how digital technologies and artificial intelligence can support learning, encourage participation and respond to students\u2019 needs. This was the focus of the teacher training course \u201cIntegrating ICT, new technologies and AI tools into teaching and education,\u201d<\/strong> held in Bologna from 26 July to 1 August 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course brought together educators and education professionals from different European contexts: Tereza Nedjalkov\u00e1<\/strong> z Masarykovo gymn\u00e1zium P\u0159\u00edbor, p.o.<\/em>, Czech Republic; Tom\u00e0s Bigord\u00e0<\/strong> z Institut Caparrella<\/em> oraz Carme Subirana Pla<\/strong> z Institut Santiago Sobrequ\u00e9s i Vidal<\/em>, Spain; Myl\u00e8ne Toure<\/strong> oraz Isabelle Anna Evelyne Nemorin<\/strong> z Lyc\u00e9e G\u00e9n\u00e9ral et Technologique des Droits de l’Homme<\/em>, Guadeloupe; Ilze Kursite<\/strong> z Cesis State Gymnasium (secondary school)<\/em>, Latvia; and El\u017cbieta Chojnacka, Izabela Selera and Magdalena Stawik<\/strong> z Fundacja MODE \u2013 Move and Develop Foundation<\/em>, Poland. Their different backgrounds and experiences created a useful setting for exchanging ideas and comparing approaches to technology in education.
