What Porto Offers
Porto, unlike other popular city trip destinations, is not merely a collection of touristic spots and landmarks but is a truly breathtaking experience for whoever wants to immerse themselves in the heart of Portugal. It doesn’t come as a surprise that this city, located in the north-western side of Portugal, has been awarded the title of Europe’s Leading City Destination for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023) during the World Travel Awards.
The city offers the perfect mix between historical charm and modern urban vibes. Porto’s enchantment lies in its winding, cobbled streets adorned with colourful buildings, revealing a tapestry of centuries-old stories. Moreover, Porto is the perfect starting point to explore nearby cities such as Coimbra, home to one of the oldest universities in Europe, or Aveiro, the so-called “Venice of Portugal” thanks to its characteristic canals.
