This training course for preschool teachers will be a starting point for exploring the main principles, features, and benefits of the best preschool approaches.<\/span><\/span>

The new edition of the course <\/span>\u201cThe best for preschool teachers\u201d<\/span> took place in Bologna from <\/span>25\/05\/2025 to 31\/05\/2025<\/span>. The participants came from all across Europe, with <\/span>Maider Echarri Aranaz from CEIP El Castellar in Spain, Linardou Sofia and Belitsou Angeliki from 1st SEN Kindergarten of Herakleion in Greece, Mar\u00eda Cetina Sauras and Maria Egea from CEIP ALCORAZ in Spain, M\u00f3nica Bravo Bravo and Concepci\u00f3n Mart\u00ednez de Tejada Gonz\u00e1lez from CEIP CASTRA CAECILIA in Spain, and Birol KILI\u00c7 and Sad\u0131k EREN from Fatsa Anaokulu in Turkey.<\/span><\/span>

On the first day, participants engaged in activities to <\/span>break the ice<\/span>, followed by an introduction to the course. They also presented their schools, giving everyone the chance to learn about each other\u2019s educational contexts and <\/span>national school systems.

On Tuesday, the group visited the local <\/span>preschool <\/span>Baraccano<\/span> in Bologna<\/span>, which is particularly focused on inclusion. Observing its practices allowed participants to understand how inclusive principles are implemented within the Italian early childhood education system.

Wednesday was dedicated to exploring the <\/span>Montessori method. <\/span>The group visited a Montessori preschool where they had the opportunity to see the method in practice, including the use of <\/span>unique educational materials <\/span>and the emphasis on <\/span>child-led learning. <\/span>This hands-on experience offered valuable insights into how Montessori fosters independence, creativity, and curiosity in young children.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

On Thursday, the course continued with a visit to the outdoor education center <\/span>Naturalmente Bambini<\/span>. <\/span>Here, participants observed how children learn through play and direct contact with nature. The experience highlighted the benefits of outdoor education in <\/span>nurturing creativity,<\/span> <\/span>physical development,<\/span> and <\/span>environmental awareness.

The final day of the training was dedicated to the renowned <\/span>Reggio Emilia approach<\/span>. Participants visited the <\/span>Loris Malaguzzi Centre,<\/span> where an expert guided them through the exhibitions. This deep dive into the philosophy and practices of Reggio Emilia offered a unique opportunity to explore a model that emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and respect for children’s ideas.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
