Throughout this week-long program, educators from across Europe engaged in a variety of collaborative activities aimed at understanding gender identity and preventing gender-based discrimination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il corso <strong>\u201cPreventing Gender-Based Discrimination and Promoting Gender Inclusiveness in the Classroom\u201d <\/strong>took place in Bologna from 24\/05\/2026 to 30\/05\/2026. Working groups were formed to discuss real-life gender-based dynamics among students, examining how these issues affect students\u2019 <strong>wellbeing and their ability<\/strong> to stay in school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moving forward, participants <strong>reflected around gender norms<\/strong>, considering how these societal expectations influence <strong>students\u2019<\/strong> <strong>performance, self-esteem, and self-expression<\/strong>. Attraverso <strong>Intersectionality theory<\/strong> and guided exercises, educators gained insight into <strong>gender-based privilege and discrimination<\/strong>, and discussed how <strong>prejudices, stereotypes<\/strong>, e <strong>discrimination<\/strong> are interconnected and most importantly, how schools can begin to break this vicious circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The emotional dimension of inclusiveness was addressed by discovering <strong>Goleman\u2019s emotional intelligence pillars<\/strong>.
