Visit Italian schools and institutions active in the field of inclusive education.

This course aims to provide teachers, headmasters and education staff with knowledge, tools and methods to prevent and tackle Early School Leaving (ESL). Participants will learn how to identify the causes of ESL and the best approaches and strategies to prevent, tackle and reduce it.

Learn tools and strategies to address and promote diversity in the classroom and overcoming prejudices and discrimination. Share and discuss challenges and best practices about promoting tolerance and acknowledging and celebrating diversity.

Learn tools and strategies to promote awareness of gender and sexual orientation themes, empower self-reflection and self-awareness among students, activate anti-discriminatory and anti-harassment practices and help students to feel listened, understood and respected.

Acquire a greater understanding of the various forms of bullying and deeper knowledge about impacts, risk factors and long-term effects on victims and bullies. Get to know how to build a positive classroom environment and develop social and emotional learning.

​This course aims to help teachers to develop their cultural awareness while giving them the tools and new approaches to cater to a multicultural and ethnically diverse group of students. Learn new approaches to education that can be applied to culturally diverse classrooms.

By participating in this course teachers and education staff will get to know what “inclusive education” means and will discuss strategies, working methods and approaches to fight the segregation of students with special needs and to include them in mainstream education.
