Today, it is essential to explore various types of m\u00e9todos y estrategias de ense\u00f1anza no formal<\/strong> in order to understand how they can improve the effectiveness of education. Looking beyond the traditional classroom setting and its physical limitations allows us to rethink learning processes and address challenges such as early school leaving. Educaci\u00f3n no formal<\/strong> is defined as \u201cany organised educational activity outside the established formal system \u2013 whether operating separately or as an important feature of some broader activity \u2013 that is intended to serve identifiable learning clienteles and learning objectives\u201d (Philip Coombs, 1973).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La \u00faltima edici\u00f3n del curso \u201cNon-Formal Education Teaching Methods and Strategies\u201d<\/em><\/strong> se celebr\u00f3 en Tenerife<\/strong> de 29\/03\/2026 to 04\/04\/2026<\/strong>. Participants joined from different parts of Europe, including Jana and Katar\u00edna from Z\u0160 Kubransk\u00e1<\/strong> in Slovakia, Ulla from Morus Oberschule Erkner<\/strong> and Kerstin from Berufskolleg fuer Wirtschaft und Verwaltung Ahaus<\/strong> in Germany, Katalin from G\u00f6llner M\u00e1ria Region\u00e1lis Waldorf Gimn\u00e1zium<\/strong> in Hungary, and Valentina and Monica from NIA<\/strong> en Italia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning, we focused on visual approaches. Through artistic and creative activities<\/strong> such as collage-making and drawing, participants were encouraged to express ideas using metaphor. These visual exercises showed how art can serve as a simple yet powerful way to explore topics and communicate complex or abstract concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we examined how juegos de rol y narraci\u00f3n de historias<\/strong> techniques can support understanding of behaviors within specific situations. These methods also helped participants reflect on how individuals contribute when taking on different roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
