These courses support participants in developing emotional intelligence, teamwork, and <\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:700\">public speaking<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> abilities through a combination of theoretical learning and practical exercises.<br \/>\u200b<\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">The new edition of the combined courses \u201c<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:700\">Soft Skills and Emotional Intelligence for teachers and education staff<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">\u200b\u201d and \u201c<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:700\">Effective Communication and Public Speaking for teachers\u200b and education staff<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">\u201d took place in Tenerife from 06\/04\/2025 to 12\/04\/2025. To encourage engagement, participants took part in a public speaking activity to introduce themselves, combining self-expression with the opportunity to practice speaking in front of an audience.<br \/><\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">The next session concentrated on <\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:700\">Emotional Intelligence<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">, emphasizing the ability to recognize and manage both personal emotions and those of others. Through interactive exercises, participants explored <\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:700\">empathy<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">, self-control, and self-motivation\u2014key qualities for building meaningful relationships both in and outside the classroom.<br \/><\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Next, in the session on <\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:700\">Effective Communication<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> and <\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:700\">Assertiveness<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">, participants explored various communication styles\u2014aggressive, passive, passive-aggressive, and assertive\u2014and discussed the importance of clearly and confidently expressing oneself while maintaining respect and professionalism.<br \/><\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Developing strong <\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:700\">Public Speaking<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> skills was another major focus of the course. Participants learned techniques to enhance their body language, control nonverbal communication, and effectively structure their speeches. To apply these skills, they prepared and delivered a short speech, gaining confidence in speaking before an audience.
