Education is constantly changing, and artificial intelligence is becoming a key part of this transformation. AI is no longer just a futuristic concept, it is already changing how we teach and learn. With AI, teachers can create more engaging lessons, offer personalized learning experiences, and automate tasks.\u00a0

This concept was fundamental during the new edition of the course “<\/span>ChatGpt and AI for teachers: Artificial Intelligence in schools and education” <\/span>that took place in Bologna from 02\/02\/2025 – 08\/02\/2025. The participants came from all across Europe, including Carmen Dolores Bello Figueroa and Andr\u00e9s Fajardo Juan from <\/span>IES Canarias Cabrera Pinto <\/span>(Spain); Jelle Ketelbuters from <\/span>KSOM 1 <\/span>(Belgium); Paulo Rog\u00e9rio Oliveira Ramos from <\/span>Agrupamento de Escolas de Argoncilhe <\/span>(Portugal); Steffen Lang and Mareike Gerstenecker from <\/span>Gymnasium Balingen<\/span> (Germany); Pierre-Micha\u00ebl Pavone from <\/span>Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e Royal Simone Veil – Beaumont <\/span>(Belgium); Kevin Jesse Vega Lozano from <\/span>Fundaci\u00f3 Gentis<\/span> (Spain); Barbara Kropieniewicz and Ewa Gawczy\u0144ska from <\/span>Szko\u0142a Podstawowa im. b\u0142. The training began with a focus on the fundamentals of AI, covering everything from <\/span>machine learning to generative AI<\/span>. Participants examined how these technologies are shaping education by automating tasks, personalizing learning experiences, and offering new ways to engage students. Understanding the basics of AI was essential to developing strategies for integrating it into daily teaching practices.

A significant part of the course was dedicated to <\/span>ChatGPT and prompt engineering<\/span>, This is important because the way we ask questions or give instructions to AI tools affects the quality of the answers. Participants practiced making clear and simple prompts, learning that small changes in wording can lead to much better results from AI systems.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The training also introduced various <\/span>AI tools for education<\/span>, from intelligent tutoring systems to adaptive learning platforms. These tools help teachers provide personalized instruction, track student progress, and create more engaging learning environments. By exploring different AI applications, educators discovered practical ways to integrate technology into their teaching methods.

The course analyzed <\/span>bias in AI<\/span> and <\/span>ethical guidelines on how to integrate AI<\/span> in education. It explained that AI can sometimes show biases based on the data it\u2019s trained on, leading to unfair outcomes. The course also discussed important topics like making sure AI systems are fair, protecting privacy, and using AI in a way that benefits everyone. It encouraged teachers to integrate AI carefully, ensuring it\u2019s ethical, inclusive, and transparent.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
