Maintaining students\u2019 motivation, engagement, and enthusiasm for learning can be a real challenge. That\u2019s where <\/span>Information and Communication Technology (ICT)<\/span> tools\u2014like educational apps and online platforms\u2014come into play, offering teachers effective ways to communicate and deliver knowledge while capturing students’ attention. In today\u2019s digital era, mastering interactive teaching strategies is essential to offer learners a dynamic and non-traditional approach that keeps them actively involved throughout the educational journey.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/h2>\n

The latest edition of the course <\/span>“Integrating ICT and New Technologies into Teaching and Education”<\/span> \u03c0\u03c1\u03b1\u03b3\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03bf\u03c0\u03bf\u03b9\u03ae\u03b8\u03b7\u03ba\u03b5 \u03c3\u03c4\u03bf <\/span>Palermo from 27\/07\/2025 to 02\/08\/2025<\/span>. The program gathered participants from across Europe, including J\u00e1nos from <\/span>Kossuth Lajos Evang\u00e9likus \u00c1ltal\u00e1nos Iskola \u00e9s AMI<\/span> in Hungary; Laura from <\/span>Escola Guillem Fortuny<\/span> in Spain; Kate\u0159ina \u00a0from <\/span>Z\u0160 Horn\u00ed Mo\u0161t\u011bnice<\/span> in the Czech Republic; Bal\u00e1zs from <\/span>Szegedi Radn\u00f3ti Mikl\u00f3s Secondary School<\/span> in Hungary; Lidija from <\/span>Srednja \u0161kola Ivanec<\/span> in Croatia; Zdenka \u00a0from <\/span>Ekonomsko-birotehni\u010dka i trgova\u010dka \u0161kola Zadar<\/span> in Croatia; V\u00edt from <\/span>Obchodn\u00ed akademie, St\u0159edn\u00ed odborn\u00e1 \u0161kola a Jazykov\u00e1 \u0161kola s pr\u00e1vem st\u00e1tn\u00ed jazykov\u00e9 zkou\u0161ky, Hradec Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9<\/span> in the Czech Republic; Katarzyna, Paulina, Magdalena, and Agnieszka \u00a0from <\/span>Zesp\u00f3\u0142 Szk\u00f3\u0142 w M\u0119towie<\/span> in Poland; Naila \u00a0from <\/span>ECE \u00c9cole d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs<\/span> in France; Stephanie from <\/span>BRG Stainach<\/span> in Austria; and Seres from <\/span>Bels\u0151-Pesti Tanker\u00fcleti K\u00f6zpont<\/span> in Hungary.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/h2>\n

Over the week, participants were introduced to a diverse set of digital tools and gained hands-on experience in applying them to create more engaging and interactive learning environments.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font>The course started with participants exploring <\/span>interactive presentation platforms and collaboration tools<\/span>, which allowed them to design more engaging, student-centered lessons. A highlight of the course was the chance to create their own school websites using drag-and-drop editors\u2014giving them a practical opportunity to apply their new digital skills.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/h2>\n

Recognizing the shift from traditional classrooms to online learning, the training focused on essential digital teaching tools. This included the use of virtual whiteboards and platforms for <\/span>technology-supported assessments<\/span>, such as diagnostic, <\/span>formative, and summative evaluation methods<\/span>\u2014helping teachers better monitor student progress and adapt their teaching accordingly.

The course also placed strong emphasis on <\/span>\u03c0\u03b1\u03b9\u03c7\u03bd\u03b9\u03b4\u03bf\u03c0\u03bf\u03af\u03b7\u03c3\u03b7<\/span>, showing how game-like elements can be used to boost motivation and make learning more enjoyable. Participants engaged in creative tasks like building quizzes, producing social media content, and using visual design tools to develop educational materials\u2014ideal for incorporating game-based strategies into their lessons.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/font>Another important aspect was the <\/span>integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in education<\/span>. Teachers learned how AI can be used to personalize learning, automate routine tasks, and assist in generating teaching content\u2014making classroom management more efficient and student learning more tailored.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/h2>\n

In addition to the digital tools, the program encouraged peer learning and exchange of experiences. By the end, participants had built a solid foundation in interactive and digital education, leaving with a diverse set of ICT tools\u2014including AI, gamification techniques, and modern assessment strategies\u2014ready to enhance their own teaching environments.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the last day interactive <\/span>video lessons<\/span> proved especially effective in capturing learners\u2019 interest and deepening engagement.<\/span> <\/font><\/p>\n

This innovative approach is certain to boost students\u2019 creativity, engagement, attention, and motivation\u2014ultimately transforming the learning process into a more enjoyable and dynamic experience.<\/span><\/p>\n
