The participants came from all across Europe, with Hanna and Dorota from Szko\u0142a Podstawowa im. Kr\u00f3lowej Jadwigi w Jerzykowie, Poland ; Laura from Ammattiopisto Spesia, Finland ; Sanita from R\u012bga Stradi\u0146\u0161 University, Latvia ; Marisa and Luis from Centro Concertado Fundaci\u00f3n Flors, Spain ; Christina from Gymnasieskolan Vipan, Sweden ; Sanna from Hyryl\u00e4n yl\u00e4aste, Finland ; Emese from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary ; Soledad from Escola Oficial d&#8217;idiomes de Palma de Mallorca, Spain ; and finally, Cristina from Institut Bellvitge, Spain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The course started with acknowledging the importance of the concept of identity as a first step to go deep into diversity. From a visual activity, our participants thought about their own identity and the relation that identity has with culture. This allows the group to debate and to discover the theory of cultural intelligence to build an understanding of what \u201cintercultural learning&#8221; means to them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u03a3\u03c4\u03b7 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bd\u03ad\u03c7\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1, \u03bf\u03b9 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bc\u03bc\u03b5\u03c4\u03ad\u03c7\u03bf\u03bd\u03c4\u03b5\u03c2 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bc\u03bc\u03b5\u03c4\u03b5\u03af\u03c7\u03b1\u03bd \u03c3\u03b5 \u03bc\u03b9\u03b1 \u03ac\u03c3\u03ba\u03b7\u03c3\u03b7 \u03b1\u03c6\u03ae\u03b3\u03b7\u03c3\u03b7\u03c2 \u03b9\u03c3\u03c4\u03bf\u03c1\u03b9\u03ce\u03bd \u03c3\u03c7\u03b5\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ac \u03bc\u03b5 \u03c4\u03b1 \u03c3\u03c4\u03b5\u03c1\u03b5\u03cc\u03c4\u03c5\u03c0\u03b1. \u03a3\u03c5\u03bd\u03bf\u03bb\u03b9\u03ba\u03ac \u03b1\u03bd\u03b1\u03ba\u03b1\u03bb\u03cd\u03c8\u03b1\u03bc\u03b5 \u03c4\u03bf \u03bd\u03cc\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1 \u03c4\u03c9\u03bd <strong>\u03c6\u03b1\u03cd\u03bb\u03bf\u03c2 \u03ba\u03cd\u03ba\u03bb\u03bf\u03c2 \u03c4\u03c9\u03bd \u03c3\u03c4\u03b5\u03c1\u03b5\u03bf\u03c4\u03cd\u03c0\u03c9\u03bd<\/strong>. They were invited to reflect about how stereotypes can convert into prejudices and discrimination, generating a vicious cycle that strengthens stereotypes. As put in an inspirational TED Talk we saw &#8211; <strong><em>\u201cShow a people as one thing \u2014 as only one thing \u2014 over and over again, and that is what they become.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u03a4\u03bf \u03c4\u03b5\u03bb\u03b5\u03c5\u03c4\u03b1\u03af\u03bf \u03b8\u03ad\u03bc\u03b1 \u03c0\u03bf\u03c5 \u03b5\u03c0\u03b5\u03be\u03b5\u03c1\u03b3\u03b1\u03c3\u03c4\u03ae\u03ba\u03b1\u03bc\u03b5 \u03ae\u03c4\u03b1\u03bd <strong>\u03ad\u03bd\u03c4\u03b1\u03be\u03b7<\/strong>.
