Skills such as <strong>\u03c3\u03c5\u03bd\u03b1\u03b9\u03c3\u03b8\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae \u03bd\u03bf\u03b7\u03bc\u03bf\u03c3\u03cd\u03bd\u03b7 <\/strong>\u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 <strong>\u03b5\u03bd\u03c3\u03c5\u03bd\u03b1\u03af\u03c3\u03b8\u03b7\u03c3\u03b7<\/strong>, <strong>\u03bf\u03bc\u03b1\u03b4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae \u03b5\u03c1\u03b3\u03b1\u03c3\u03af\u03b1<\/strong>,<strong> conflict and stress management<\/strong> are essential inside and outside the classroom. By a combination of theoretical and practical activities, our participants learnt more about how to improve their communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u0397 \u03bd\u03ad\u03b1 \u03ad\u03ba\u03b4\u03bf\u03c3\u03b7 \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 \u03bc\u03b1\u03b8\u03ae\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03bf\u03c2 \u201c<strong>\u0389\u03c0\u03b9\u03b5\u03c2 \u03b4\u03b5\u03be\u03b9\u03cc\u03c4\u03b7\u03c4\u03b5\u03c2 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bd\u03b1\u03b9\u03c3\u03b8\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae \u03bd\u03bf\u03b7\u03bc\u03bf\u03c3\u03cd\u03bd\u03b7 \u03b3\u03b9\u03b1 \u03b5\u03ba\u03c0\u03b1\u03b9\u03b4\u03b5\u03c5\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03bf\u03cd\u03c2 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u03b5\u03ba\u03c0\u03b1\u03b9\u03b4\u03b5\u03c5\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc \u03c0\u03c1\u03bf\u03c3\u03c9\u03c0\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc<\/strong>\u200b\u201d took place in Palermo from 12\/07\/2026 to 18\/07\/2026. The participants came from all across Europe, with Gerardine from Jesus And Mary Secondary School Enniscrone Co Sligo in Ireland, Gundars and Ieva from <strong>Talsi State Gymnasium<\/strong> in Latvia, participants from two schools in Czech Republic: Katerina, Blanka and Tereza from <strong>Z\u00e1kladn\u00ed \u0161kola Vorlina Vla\u0161im, p\u0159\u00edsp\u011bvkov\u00e1 organizace<\/strong> and Marie and Karolina from <strong>St\u0159edn\u00ed \u0161kola informatiky a cestovn\u00edho ruchu S\u010cMSD Humpolec, s.r.o. <\/strong>And finally participants coming from three different Spanish schools: Teresa and Laura from <strong>\u00cdES Valdespartera<\/strong>, Jesus from <strong>IES Castelar<\/strong>, and Manuela from <strong>IES CARR\u00daS.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure \u03bc\u03ac\u03b8\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1 \u03ae\u03c4\u03b1\u03bd <strong>\u03a3\u03c5\u03bd\u03b1\u03b9\u03c3\u03b8\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae \u03bd\u03bf\u03b7\u03bc\u03bf\u03c3\u03cd\u03bd\u03b7<\/strong>. This term indicates the ability to recognise not only our own feelings but also other people\u2019s emotions, in order to be aware of ourselves and our surroundings. Another skill that was tackled during this session was <strong>empathy. <\/strong>Through a series of exercises the participants were able to learn more about practising empathy, self-control, self-motivation and building a connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A good teacher is also a good<strong> <\/strong>leader of the classroom because they have to give motivation and guide their students to reach a specific goal. <strong>Leadership<\/strong> comes in different forms, but not all of them are effective in every situation. For this reason, participants were asked to think about the main characteristics of the leaders they admire and reflected on the different leadership styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most important skills for working in a team is <strong>effective communication<\/strong>. The participants focused their attention on the different communication styles: aggressive, passive, passive-aggressive and assertive. Communication is essential when it comes to<strong> teamwork. <\/strong>Being able to show <strong>\u03b1\u03c5\u03c4\u03bf\u03c0\u03b5\u03c0\u03bf\u03af\u03b8\u03b7\u03c3\u03b7 <\/strong>can be tricky, however, by discussing this topic they saw that being assertive does not mean to be impolite, but it means to communicate what you want effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to improve their communication skills they also had to prepare an exercise on <strong>\u03b4\u03b7\u03bc\u03cc\u03c3\u03b9\u03b1 \u03bf\u03bc\u03b9\u03bb\u03af\u03b1<\/strong>. They learnt tips and tricks on how to present yourself, how to control your body language and your nonverbal communication. By sharing their own experiences they realised how these are common situations and that conflict doesn\u2019t necessarily have to bring a negative outcome, but it is also a possibility for growth and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This course allowed participants to confront themselves with each other and learn from their shared experiences. Each participant had a different background that certainly contributed to the growth of the group as a whole.
