English is recognized as the <\/span>“global language,” <\/span>fostering connections among individuals from diverse nations and facilitating communication across various domains, including <\/span>business, academic research, fashion, computers, and more.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

A group of teachers from different countries and schools took part in the <\/span>“Intensive English Language Course for Education Staff.” <\/span>They approached the study with a positive attitude and put in maximum effort into each activity.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

The new edition of the course took place in Tenerife from 4\/11\/2023 to 10\/11\/2023. We had the pleasure to welcome a group composed by Jan from <\/span>Cirkevna spojena skola, Snina, <\/span>Philippe<\/span> <\/span>von <\/span>OGEC Saint Louis<\/span>, Enik<\/span>\u0151 <\/span>von <\/span>Debreceni Reform\u00e1tus Koll\u00e9gium Gimn\u00e1ziuma <\/span>from Hungary, Tiia and Marika from <\/span>L\u00e4nsirannikon koulutus Oy <\/span>inFinland, Mariola, Aneta and Monika from <\/span>Zesp\u00f3<\/span>\u0142 <\/span>Szk\u00f3<\/span>\u0142 <\/span>Og\u00f3lnokszta<\/span>\u0142<\/span>c<\/span>\u0105<\/span>cych nr 9 w Krakowie <\/span>in Poland.<\/span><\/font><\/span>

Throughout the week, the participants had various challenges to enhance five essential skills: <\/span>English usage, listening, reading, writing, and speaking.<\/span> <\/p>\n

We began our journey by sharing information about ourselves and learning how to describe our jobs and organized the first job interview in order to understand each other attitudes and strong sides as coworkers.\u00a0<\/span><\/font>

From the second day onward, each morning began with a <\/span>review <\/span>of the new knowledge gained through a recap activity. Learning a language demands effort and practice, which is why every theory session in the course was full of numerous exercises and activities.<\/span>

We covered many <\/span>grammar topics, <\/span>such as recap of the tenses, usage of the phrasal verbs and adverbs. Each lesson was based on everyday situations, organizing daily tasks, and talking about routine activities, hours, and schedules. We also discussed topics like importance of learning the foreign language, travel, and planning for the future.<\/span><\/font>

One day we spent together with level level English group in order to exchange the experience and learn from each other from the games and treasure hunt activity in the city center of Puerto de la Cruz.<\/span> <\/p>\n

To enhance effective learning, we conducted formative assessments and activities using games, quizzes, readings, real-life simulations, and various other methods.<\/span><\/font>
<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The participants enthusiastically embraced all the <\/span>“speaking challenges” <\/span>with courage. During breaks, they seized every opportunity to converse with fellow participants in English, exchanging best practices and insights about their schools and countries. It proved to be an exceptionally productive week, with significant improvements in their English skills. We hope they maintain this positive attitude in their continued English studies and cherish the multicultural environment they successfully established within just one week.<\/span> <\/p>\n
