Today, English stands as a global language, serving as a bridge between people from different nations and enabling communication across diverse fields such as business, academic research, fashion, technology, and more.
A group of teachers from Poland participated in the Intensive English Language Course for Education Staff, embracing the learning process with enthusiasm and dedication. They approached each activity with a positive mindset, giving their best to improve their skills and broaden their horizons.
The new edition of the course took place in Tenerife from 06/07/2025 to 20/07/2025. We had the pleasure towelcome a group composed by Edyta, Hanna, Klaudia, Łukasz, Małgorzata, Jacek, Monika, Dorota, Justyna and Karolina from Zespół Szkół Ponadpodstawowych im. Stanisława Staszica w Stąporkowie in Poland.
Throughout 2 weeks, participants tackled a variety of challenges designed to strengthen five key skills: Englishusage, listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
The journey began with introductions and job descriptions, followed by peer interviews to get to know oneanother. Since learning a language demands both effort and practice, each day was packed with interactive exercises and activities.
Grammar review included tenses, phrasal verbs, and adverbs, all taught through practical, real-life contexts such as organizing daily tasks, discussing routines, managing schedules, and talking about hobbies. Participants also explored broader topics like the importance of learning foreign languages, travel experiences, and future plans.
To make learning both effective and engaging, lessons incorporated formative assessments, games, quizzes,
readings, real-life simulations, and other interactive strategies.
Outside the classroom, participants enjoyed exploring the city of Tenerife through guided sightseeing tours of the historic center and shared memorable moments over lunches and dinners in charming local restaurants, experiencing the island’s rich culture and cuisine.
The participants embraced every speaking challenge with enthusiasm and confidence. Even during breaks, they took advantage of every moment to converse in English, exchanging best practices and sharing insights about their schools and countries. It was an exceptionally productive week, marked by dedication, curiosity, and cultural exchange. We hope they carry this positive mindset into their ongoing English studies and treasure the vibrant,
multicultural environment they managed to create.
