Keeping students <\/span>motivated<\/span> \u0438 <\/span>engaged<\/span> in the classroom can be a significant challenge for teachers. However, integrating <\/span>\u0418\u041a\u0422 \u0438\u043d\u0441\u0442\u0440\u0443\u043c\u0435\u043d\u0442\u0438<\/span> such as <\/span>apps and web platforms<\/span> can make a transformative difference. These tools enable educators to communicate and transfer knowledge effectively while capturing their students’ attention. In today\u2019s educational landscape, mastering interactive learning methods is essential for offering students dynamic, non-traditional learning experiences that keep them engaged.<\/span><\/span>

\u200bThe latest edition of the course <\/span>\u201cIntegrating ICT and New Technologies into Teaching and Education\u201d <\/span>\u0441\u0435 \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0432\u0435\u0434\u0435 \u0432<\/span> \u041f\u0430\u043b\u0435\u0440\u043c\u043e<\/span> \u043e\u0442<\/span> 10 to 16 November 2024.<\/span>\u00a0 This event brought together educators from across Europe, including <\/span>Rugil\u0117<\/span>\u00a0\u0438 <\/span>Amanda<\/span>\u00a0\u043e\u0442<\/span> Alytus Drevinukas school-kindergarten Alytaus Vidzgirio mokykla<\/span> in Lithuania; <\/span>Ciaran<\/span>\u00a0\u043e\u0442<\/span> CIty of Dublin ETB Educational Service to Prisons<\/span> in Ireland; <\/span>Hanna<\/span>\u00a0\u0438<\/span> Lars<\/span>\u00a0\u043e\u0442 <\/span>Sundlergymnasiet<\/span> in Sweden;<\/span>\u00a0Manuela, Mihaela Aura and Ioana<\/span> \u043e\u0442<\/span> Colegiul National de Informatica Spiru Haret<\/span> in Romania; <\/span>Benedikt, Pia, Anjin and Annika\u00a0<\/span>\u043e\u0442<\/span> Hildegardis-Schule<\/span> in Germany; and lastly <\/span>Milda and Vaida\u00a0<\/span>\u043e\u0442 <\/span>Lietuvos kur\u010di\u0173j\u0173 ir neprigirdin\u010di\u0173j\u0173 ugdymo centras<\/span> in Lithuania.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

During the course, participants explored a wide range of <\/span>\u0442\u0435\u0445\u043d\u043e\u043b\u043e\u0433\u0438\u0447\u043d\u0438 \u0441\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0441\u0442\u0432\u0430<\/span> and how to integrate them into their <\/span>\u043c\u0435\u0442\u043e\u0434\u0438 \u043d\u0430 \u043f\u0440\u0435\u043f\u043e\u0434\u0430\u0432\u0430\u043d\u0435<\/span>. They began with simple yet powerful tools for <\/span>editing photos and videos<\/span>, which are invaluable for creating multimedia content, introducing new topics, or summarising lessons. Teachers also learned how to encourage creativity by challenging students to produce their own visual and video projects. <\/span>Video presentations<\/span>, in particular, were highlighted as effective for capturing students\u2019 attention and energising the learning environment.<\/span><\/span>

Another key focus of the course was <\/span>\u0441\u044a\u0437\u0434\u0430\u0432\u0430\u043d\u0435 \u043d\u0430 \u0443\u0435\u0431\u0441\u0430\u0439\u0442\u043e\u0432\u0435<\/span>. Participants were introduced to user-friendly drag-and-drop tools that enabled them to design and build functional websites for their schools. These skills empower educators to create customised online spaces for sharing resources, showcasing student work, or enhancing communication with parents<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>

With the shift to virtual lessons over the past two years, the course also addressed tools for <\/span>online teaching<\/span>. Participants explored applications designed to facilitate engaging <\/span>virtual classes<\/span>, such as <\/span>interactive whiteboards <\/span>\u0438 <\/span>collaborative platforms<\/span>. These tools were demonstrated as essential for maintaining student involvement and fostering teamwork in remote settings. Throughout the course, participants engaged in<\/span> \u043f\u0440\u0430\u043a\u0442\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u043a\u0438 \u0434\u0435\u0439\u043d\u043e\u0441\u0442\u0438<\/span>, including creating virtual quizzes, designing social media content, and organising graphics, posters, and collages. These exercises not only allowed them to practise their new skills but also inspired innovative ways to apply these tools in their classrooms.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>

An important aspect of the program was the opportunity for participants to <\/span>share experiences<\/span> \u0438 <\/span>learn from one another.<\/span> The exchange of ideas enriched the learning process and provided valuable insights into diverse teaching practices. By the end of the course, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of <\/span>\u0438\u043d\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0430\u043a\u0442\u0438\u0432\u043d\u043e \u043e\u0431\u0443\u0447\u0435\u043d\u0438\u0435 <\/span>and a versatile toolkit to enhance their teaching methods.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
