Erasmus Learning Academy accreditations and certifications

When you invest your school’s Erasmus+ budget in a training course, you need to be confident that the provider is legitimate, accountable and recognised by the relevant authorities. The Erasmus Learning Academy holds three independent accreditations and certifications that guarantee the quality, reliability and compliance of our training courses.

Erasmus+ accreditation — consortium coordinator

ELA holds an Erasmus+ accreditation as a mobility consortium coordinator in the field of school education, awarded by the Italian National Agency INDIRE. This is the most comprehensive form of Erasmus+ accreditation available: it means we are not only accredited to organise our own mobility activities, but also authorised to coordinate a consortium of organisations that implement mobility projects together under a joint Erasmus Plan.

What this means for our partners and participants

The Erasmus+ accreditation is a rigorous quality seal. To obtain it, we submitted a detailed Erasmus Plan with long-term internationalisation objectives and committed to meeting the Erasmus quality standards set by the European Commission. Our accreditation is valid for the entire 2021–2027 programme period and is subject to ongoing monitoring by the National Agency.

For you, this means partnering with an organisation that has been vetted and approved at the European level — not just a commercial training provider, but an accredited institution with a proven track record in managing Erasmus+ mobility for teachers and education staff. Our courses are fully eligible for Erasmus+ KA1 funding (learning mobility of individuals), and we have extensive experience supporting schools through the entire process — from the Erasmus+ application to final reporting and dissemination.

As consortium coordinators, we also provide mobility opportunities to other member organisations in our consortium, demonstrating our capacity to manage complex, multi-partner European projects.

Italian Ministry of Education accreditation (MIM)

ELA is officially accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education (Ministero dell’Istruzione e del Merito — MIM) as a recognised provider of teacher training, in accordance with Direttiva 170/2016. This accreditation is granted only to organisations that meet specific requirements in terms of governance, expertise, track record and quality assurance, and is renewed periodically by the Ministry.

What this means for our partners and participants

The MIM accreditation means that our courses are officially recognised for the professional development of Italian school staff — teachers, headmasters, education professionals and administrative staff. Italian teachers can attend our courses using the bonus docenti (teacher bonus) or other national professional development funds such as PNRR and DM66, in addition to Erasmus+ funding.

For international participants, the MIM accreditation is an additional guarantee of quality: it confirms that ELA has been independently assessed and approved by a national government authority — not just as a generic training company, but specifically as a teacher training institution.

ISO 9001 certification

ELA holds ISO 9001 certification for the design and delivery of training courses. ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems, certifying that an organisation operates with documented processes, continuous improvement practices and a systematic approach to quality assurance.

What this means for our partners and participants

The ISO 9001 certification means that our training operations — from course design and trainer selection to logistics, evaluation and follow-up — follow structured and auditable quality procedures. This goes beyond simply having good intentions: it means we have an external auditor verifying that we actually do what we promise. For Erasmus+ project coordinators, this is a strong signal of reliability when reporting to your National Agency.
